Bob Northcutt Robert A. “Bob” Northcutt is a petroleum geologist with over 46 years of professional experience. He has a B. S. in Geological Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1956. He has worked for oil and gas companies in both staff and managerial positions, as an independent geologist prospecting for oil and gas in Oklahoma and adjoining states, and as a consultant to various companies and individuals including the Oklahoma Geological Survey. Bob is actively involved in the Oklahoma City Geological Society and is the Associate Editor of the Shale Shaker. He is a member of AAPG-DPA and AIPG. Bob’s current area of interest is the history of oil and gas development in Oklahoma.
