ALLEN GILMER

ALLEN GILMER

CO-FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Prior to co-founding Drillinginfo in 1999, Allen was an independent oilman for seven years, co-founding three profitable exploration & production companies. He began his oil patch career with Marathon Oil Corporation, as a geophysicist working in research, seismic acquisitions, and South American exploration. Allen is active in all aspects of Drillinginfo’s new product development and is widely recognized for his leadership and vision. He holds several patents in the field of component seismology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from Rice University and a Master of Science in geology from University of Texas at El Paso.

Jeff has a 20-year track record of driving market share and profit growth at SaaS businesses, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. His expertise with P&L management, leadership of global teams, and tech innovation are defined by his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

Before he joined Drillinginfo, he worked as the general manager for Digital Insight, chief technology officer for NCR Financial Services, and the general manager for Radiant Systems. Jeff’s SaaS career began in 1995, when he founded CompleteSynergy with a first-of-its-kind software application. He earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management from the University of Nebraska.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Dave joined Drillinginfo in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer, following eight years in the healthcare software industry, where he worked as the CFO for a public company selling software and services to hospitals and other healthcare providers. He also served as that company’s head of services and implementation as they successfully transitioned from a public to a private company in a take private transaction. Prior to that, Dave worked as a CFO and senior executive at both public and private telecommunications companies, building fiber optic networks and rolling out competitive local and long distance services to an emerging deregulated telecom industry. Dave started his career at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Mark is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years experience building and managing global technical and operational organizations with a focus on total corporate growth and innovation. He has brought his technical leadership, global experience, acquisition integration, innovation and operational skills to organizations of all levels, including early stage startups, governments and Fortune 1000 companies. He has led the technology for several successful acquisitions and public offering.

Most recently, Mark was the COO for PureWRX, leading the technical effort of the business from solely services to SaaS based. Before PureWRX, Mark was the senior VP of engineering and operations for SolarWinds, where he was instrumental in leading infrastructure, engineering, global expansion and operational excellence. He earned a BS in mathematics with computer science from Trinity University.

CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Matt joined Drillinginfo in 2005, serving in various sales and leadership capacities over his 10 plus year tenure. Currently Matt serves as the chief revenue officer, where he is in charge of leading Drillinginfo’s global sales efforts, account management and membership development. Matt has extensive experience in growing new markets and various verticals, having lead start up efforts for Drillinginfo’s Western US and Canadian sales operations, Strategic Account Team and most recently, International Division. Matt currently serves on the board of key industry organizations and is actively involved with IPAA, Western Energy Alliance, TIPRO, YPE, SPE amongst others. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in geography from the University of Texas, Austin.

Jeff Chapman joined Drillinginfo in 2016 as the SVP of services and customer operations. Jeff has built a successful career managing large global teams focused on driving services, revenue and operational efficiency. Prior to DI, Jeff held senior executive sales, services and delivery operation positions with Collegis Education, SumTotal Systems and Lawson Software as well as served as an IT executive for organizations such as Newell Rubbermaid and LuK Incorporated. Jeff holds a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Capital University.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, MARKET RESEARCH

 

Colin joined Drillinginfo in 2004, bringing a wide range of experience to the executive leadership team, and currently serves as the SVP and GM of the Market Research division. After starting as an individual sales contributor, Colin served as SVP of Global Sales for six years before moving to a general manager role to build out Drillinginfo’s oilfield services division. In his current role as GM of Market Research, Colin is responsible for full operational and market strategy surrounding acquisitions. Prior to joining Drillinginfo, Colin cut his teeth in sales at the Southwestern Company for two summers while he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jimmy’s product-focused career within technology businesses began in 1995. In roles ranging from VP of Product Management to CTO, Jimmy has helped large and small companies grow quickly by leading the development, differentiation, and quality improvements of complex, global product portfolios. Most recently, Jimmy served as VP of Product Management at Omnitracs, LLC and prior to that was VP of Product Development at NCR Corporation. Jimmy is an inventor on two issued US patents and many more applications in process. He received a BS in management from Georgia Tech.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

Before joining DI, Tanya was a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the associate director of the McCombs Energy Center, where she was responsible for alumni relations, student programming, and business operations. Prior to working at McCombs, Tanya was a director at Duff and Phelps, an international financial advisory firm. Tanya graduated Magna Cum Laude in economics from Princeton University and she holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar.

VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Alicia joined Drillinginfo in 2016 to lead the marketing team, with a primary focus on driving lead generation across all lines of business. Prior to joining Drillinginfo, she led integrated marketing for the financial services division of NCR. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and has held several leadership positions on both the corporate and marketing services agency side, focusing mostly on technology and financial services. Alicia graduated from Simmons College in Boston, with a Bachelor of Arts in communications.

VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

Shelley joined Drillinginfo in 2018, bringing with her over 30 years of experience working within human resources. Prior to Drillinginfo, she worked with numerous technology companies and gained experience in the education, healthcare and nonprofit industries. After serving as director and Sr. HR Business Partner for a Semiconductor company in Phoenix, Shelley was excited to move to Austin and get back to her roots of working with an entrepreneurial-minded, fast-growing company. As VP of HR at Drillinginfo, Shelley’s focus is to align HR strategies with business strategies and to ensure HR is a solid business partner in driving strong employee engagement.
