Prior to co-founding Drillinginfo in 1999, Allen was an independent oilman for seven years, co-founding three profitable exploration & production companies. He began his oil patch career with Marathon Oil Corporation, as a geophysicist working in research, seismic acquisitions, and South American exploration. Allen is active in all aspects of Drillinginfo’s new product development and is widely recognized for his leadership and vision. He holds several patents in the field of component seismology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from Rice University and a Master of Science in geology from University of Texas at El Paso.

Jeff has a 20-year track record of driving market share and profit growth at SaaS businesses, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. His expertise with P&L management, leadership of global teams, and tech innovation are defined by his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
Before he joined Drillinginfo, he worked as the general manager for Digital Insight, chief technology officer for NCR Financial Services, and the general manager for Radiant Systems. Jeff’s SaaS career began in 1995, when he founded CompleteSynergy with a first-of-its-kind software application. He earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management from the University of Nebraska.

Dave joined Drillinginfo in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer, following eight years in the healthcare software industry, where he worked as the CFO for a public company selling software and services to hospitals and other healthcare providers. He also served as that company’s head of services and implementation as they successfully transitioned from a public to a private company in a take private transaction. Prior to that, Dave worked as a CFO and senior executive at both public and private telecommunications companies, building fiber optic networks and rolling out competitive local and long distance services to an emerging deregulated telecom industry. Dave started his career at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s.
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Mark is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years experience building and managing global technical and operational organizations with a focus on total corporate growth and innovation. He has brought his technical leadership, global experience, acquisition integration, innovation and operational skills to organizations of all levels, including early stage startups, governments and Fortune 1000 companies. He has led the technology for several successful acquisitions and public offering.
Most recently, Mark was the COO for PureWRX, leading the technical effort of the business from solely services to SaaS based. Before PureWRX, Mark was the senior VP of engineering and operations for SolarWinds, where he was instrumental in leading infrastructure, engineering, global expansion and operational excellence. He earned a BS in mathematics with computer science from Trinity University.

Before co-founding Drillinginfo in 1999, Mark had a long career as a prospect geologist at Gulf Oil before beginning work as an independent geologist. Mark is responsible for quality control and data integrity. He received his Bachelor of Arts in geology and his master’s in geology and geophysics from Dartmouth College.

Matt joined Drillinginfo in 2005, serving in various sales and leadership capacities over his 10 plus year tenure. Currently Matt serves as the senior vice president of sales, where he is in charge of leading Drillinginfo’s global sales efforts, account management and membership development. Matt has extensive experience in growing new markets and various verticals, having lead start up efforts for Drillinginfo’s Western US and Canadian sales operations, Strategic Account Team and most recently, International Division. Matt is currently serves on the board of key industry organizations and is actively involved with IPAA, Western Energy Alliance, TIPRO, YPE, SPE amongst others. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in geography from the University of Texas, Austin.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DI SERVICES & CUSTOMER OPERATIONS
Jeff Chapman joined Drillinginfo in 2016 as the SVP of services and customer operations. Jeff has built a successful career managing large global teams focused on driving services, revenue and operational efficiency. Prior to DI, Jeff held senior executive sales, services and delivery operation positions with Collegis Education, SumTotal Systems and Lawson Software as well as served as an IT executive for organizations such as Newell Rubbermaid and LuK Incorporated. Jeff holds a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Capital University.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL MANAGER, OILFIELD SERVICES
Colin brings more than a decade of Drillinginfo experience to the executive leadership team while currently serving as the SVP and general manager of oilfield services, where he’s in charge of leading operational excellence, membership development and sales enablement. In 2004, Colin joined DrillingInfo as an individual sales contributor on Drillinginfo’s first inside sales team and was recognized as Drillinginfo’s Rookie of the Year. Colin was promoted to a field sales position in Houston, TX, where he managed the company’s major oil and gas clients including Exxon, Chevron, BP, and ConocoPhillips. After earning the title of Drillinginfo Sales Executive of the Year in 2008, Colin was promoted to director of sales for the Gulf Coast Region, where he helped lead Drillinginfo’s largest region to 50% year-over-year growth with 99% retention. In 2009, he made the move to VP of North America, and in 2011 was named SVP of worldwide sales, where he led Drillinginfo’s global sales force to 300% growth during his tenure.
Prior to Drillinginfo, Colin cut his teeth in sales working for the Southwestern Company for two summers in college, and selling books door to-door in New York and Ohio.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DATA
Corey has worked with oil and gas data in a variety of roles over the past 18 years. Prior to this he managed Drillinginfo’s products team. He first joined Drillinginfo in 2009 with the company’s acquisition of HPDI, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. While at HPDI, he worked directly with the Department of Energy, several large financial institutions, operators, and a number of the world’s largest service and midstream companies in their analysis of U.S. and Canadian production trends in a wide variety of scenarios.

Jimmy’s product-focused career within technology businesses began in 1995. In roles ranging from VP of Product Management to CTO, Jimmy has helped large and small companies grow quickly by leading the development, differentiation, and quality improvements of complex, global product portfolios. Most recently, Jimmy served as VP of Product Management at Omnitracs, LLC and prior to that was VP of Product Development at NCR Corporation. Jimmy is an inventor on two issued US patents and many more applications in process. He received a BS in management from Georgia Tech.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETVIEW PLATFORM
Chris Harrison is a Chicago Cubs fan and highly experienced Fintech innovator, in that order. With over 20 years of commodity data management and product development experience, Chris has a proven track record of building and managing highly successful product and service organizations, often times from the ground up. His commitment to taking a hands-on, entrepreneurial attitude has allowed his teams to excel in high growth cultures by bringing new products and services to market ahead of schedule. Chris is a mentally agile and strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas and concepts into actions and tangible results. While he has a passion for being innovative, he still enjoys building a better mouse trap as evidenced by his ongoing commitment to improving end-user workflow and customer distribution models.
Chris has a BA in economics from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He lives in Chicago with his wife, two overly dramatic daughters and a very hungry yellow Labrador.
VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT
Before joining DI, Tanya was a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the associate director of the McCombs Energy Center, where she was responsible for alumni relations, student programming, and business operations. Prior to working at McCombs, Tanya was a director at Duff and Phelps, an international financial advisory firm. Tanya graduated Magna Cum Laude in economics from Princeton University and she holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar.
VICE PRESIDENT, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
David has been producing software for the oil and gas industry for nearly 30 years. Starting his career in the UK he worked for Schlumberger, architecting the front end solutions to their reservoir simulators. In 1998, David moved to Austin, TX to work for a simulation startup – after a year he moved to Landmark Graphics, where he became a lead software architect. In 2004, David joined a group of elite professionals and helped start Transform Software, again taking the role as architect, where he remained until it was acquired by Drillinginfo in 2013. He obtained a BS and PhD in mathematics from the University of York and Reading University, respectively.
SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
Bill recently changed position from SVP Global Analytics, where he built up the analytics and play assessment product offerings and business unit. Bill is now a senior research fellow at Drillinginfo addressing technical challenges such as probabilistic decline curve analysis, production allocation, and statistical analyses. He continues to play a technical role on the executive leadership team. Bill came to Drillinginfo with the Transform acquisition. At Transform, he was the principal author of data analysis and multivariate statistics, waveform classification, many of the seismic processing options, and the original synthetics tools. Prior to Transform, Bill was VP of exploration services at Veritas after the acquisition of Reservoir Characterization Research and Consulting (RC Squared). Bill was the co-founder and CEO of RC Squared, where he was the principal architect of 3D stochastic property modeling and seismic inversion and integration. Bill began his career after graduate school at Chevron, spending twelve years in a variety of positions including E&P operations and at the upstream research facility. Bill holds BS degrees in geophysics and geology, an MS in geophysics, and an MBA.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, INFORMATION STRATEGY
As SVP of Information Strategy, Tarun leads product management for Drillinginfo’s upstream-related data and leads market growth initiatives related to the land and engineering functions. He entered the oil and gas industry in 2006 and worked at Neuralog Inc. as product manager and for NeuraDB – a PPDM based corporate data repository for well, seismic, log and production data. Most recently Tarun served as IT director for BP North America, responsible for data management and IT program and portfolio management across Lower 48 Onshore, with prior roles as geospatial data manager, and leadership of the data management organization across subsurface, geospatial, operations, production, pipeline and records management disciplines. Tarun is considered an industry-wide expert on the management of subsurface and geospatial data.
