Prior to co-founding Drillinginfo in 1999, Allen was an independent oilman for seven years, co-founding three profitable exploration and production companies. He began his oil patch career with Marathon Oil Corporation as a geophysicist working in research, seismic acquisitions, and South American exploration. Allen is active in all aspects of Drillinginfo’s new product development and is widely recognized for his leadership and vision. He holds several patents in the field of component seismology.

 

Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Rice University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Jeff has a 20-year track record of driving market share and profit growth at SaaS businesses, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. His expertise with P&L management, leadership of global teams, and tech innovation are defined by his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Before joining Drillinginfo, he worked as the General Manager for Digital Insight, Chief Technology Officer for NCR Financial Services, and the General Manager for Radiant Systems. Jeff’s SaaS career began in 1995, when he founded CompleteSynergy with a first-of-its-kind software application.

 

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from the University of Nebraska.

Jimmy’s product-focused career within technology businesses began in 1995. In roles ranging from Vice President of Product Management to Chief Technology Officer, Jimmy has helped large and small companies grow quickly by leading the development, differentiation, and quality improvements of complex, global product portfolios. Most recently, Jimmy served as VP of Product Management at Omnitracs, LLC and prior to that time was VP of Product Development at NCR Corporation. Jimmy is an inventor on two issued U.S. patents and many more applications in process.

 

Jimmy received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Georgia Tech.

Tanya’s professional career spans more than 15 years in the areas of finance, strategy, and management. As the Vice President of Strategic Development for Drillinginfo, Tanya helps identify opportunities to expand into new markets, and sets and evaluates internal strategic objectives and metrics to measure DI’s success. Prior to this role, Tanya served as Drillinginfo’s Market Director for Financial Services and Oilfield Services, and as the Product Manager for Analytics.

 

Before joining DI, Tanya held roles as the Associate Director of the McCombs Energy Center and as a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Prior to working at McCombs, Tanya was a Director at Duff and Phelps, an international financial advisory firm.

 

Tanya graduated Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Princeton University and she holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar.

Bill Bashore Senior Research Fellow REQUEST AVAILABILITY

Bill is a Senior Research Fellow at Drillinginfo where he focuses on technical challenges such as probabilistic decline curve analysis, production allocation, and statistical analyses. Previously, Bill was the Senior Vice President of Global Analytics, where he built up the analytics and play assessment product offerings and business unit. Prior to Drillinginfo, Bill served as the principal author of data analysis at Transform, which was acquired by Drillinginfo. At Transform, he was the principal author of data analysis and multivariate statistics, waveform classification, many of the seismic processing options, and the original synthetics tools. Prior to Transform, Bill held roles as the Vice President of Exploration Services at Veritas and as CEO of RC Squared, which he also co-founded.

 

Bill began his career at Chevron, spending twelve years in a variety of positions including E&P operations and upstream research. Bill holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Geophysics and Geology, a Master of Science in Geophysics, and a Master of Business Administration.

Phillip Dunning Manager, Consulting Services REQUEST AVAILABILITY

Phillip is the Manager of Consulting Services at Drillinginfo. Prior to joining the company in early 2016, Phillip worked as an asset development engineer in the Appalachian Basin and later as a Managing Director in an upstream private equity firm focusing on equity investments in unconventional plays and royalty/mineral acquisitions. Phillip has advised companies on deploying capital, raising money, and acquisitions/divestitures, and has helped start up numerous oil and gas companies since 2013.

 

Phillip joined the U.S. Army in 2008, commissioning as an Engineering Officer in 2013. He currently serves at the 136th MEB as an LNO for the Homeland Response Force.

 

Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana.

Porter Bennett Consultant and Drillinginfo Board Member REQUEST AVAILABILITY

Porter has over 30 years’ experience as a consultant to the natural gas and oil industry. He founded Bentek Energy, LLC  in 1985 and developed the firm into the leading natural gas market analysis and information company. Along the way, Porter managed multiple pipeline and production acquisition analyses and assisted numerous producers, pipelines, and midstream companies to formulate their strategic vision and implement wholesale and retail natural gas marketing programs. In 2012, he co-founded Ponderosa Energy.

 

Porter is a member of the Drillinginfo Board of Directors and the International Gas Union Strategy Committee, the Vice President of Western Energy Alliance and Chairman of its Natural Gas Committee, and an Observer with the Potential Gas Committee.

 

Porter holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lewis & Clark College.

Bernadette joined Drillinginfo through the acquisition of products and services from Ponderosa Energy. She serves as Vice President of Market Intelligence for Drillinginfo and is responsible for helping to grow and expand Drillinginfo’s analytics offerings, building on her work as a founding partner of Ponderosa Energy leading consulting engagement and research efforts. With over 10 years of experience in the energy industry, Bernadette has earned the reputation of industry expert with extensive experience providing crude, natural gas, and NGL fundamentals analysis and advisory services to various players in the North American and global energy markets. A regular commentator for and speaker to the energy industry, her specific market expertise spans financial trading, production forecasts, demand forecasts by sector, infrastructure analysis, midstream analysis, storage value analysis, and price forecasts.

 

Bernadette holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy of Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.

Sarp is a Senior Oil and Gas Market Analyst and Manager of Upstream and Crude Market Efforts for Drillinginfo Market Intelligence. He has also been published in the SPE Economics & Management Journal for his work on the long-term economic viability of production from unconventional liquids-rich reservoirs. Sarp’s focus on data-driven modeling and his ability to incorporate the effects of technological and market advances into analyses provides clients a thorough picture of the present and the future in their area of interest within the oil and gas industry.

 

Sarp holds a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master of Science in Petroleum Economics and Management from the Institut Francais du Petrole (IFP School), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Maria is an energy market analyst with a focus on natural gas fundamentals. Her experience includes analyzing regional and macro supply/demand dynamics by combining pipeline flows, production forecasts, demand forecasts, storage volumes, weather, and regional prices. She has managed and traded financial derivatives swaps, and options. Maria also leads consulting engagements related to natural gas fundamentals across the U.S. involving pipeline and storage infrastructure systems.

Patrick Rutty is Senior Product Manager for DI Transform. Before joining Drillinginfo, he spent 26 years working with large and small E&P companies as a member of various exploration teams focused on basins in North America, Saudi Arabia, and central Europe, in roles from prospect generation and exploration management to business development and executive leadership.

 

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Master of Science in Exploration and Development Geophysics from Stanford University.

Clint Barefoot is the Senior Director of Technical Sales and Consulting Services at Drillinginfo, where he leads a team of geologists, geophysicists, engineers, land professionals, IT professionals, and GIS professionals. With an impressive 13 years combined experience in the oil and gas and tech industries, Clint has worked with hundreds of clients developing solutions through consulting engagements.

 

At Drillinginfo, Clint offers consulting services to geologists and geophysicists with projects involving DI Transform and is responsible for bi-variate and multi-variate analysis with data involving multiple disciplines, as well as subsurface interpretation of geological and geophysical data in multiple plays.

 

Prior to joining Drillinginfo, Clint worked at Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City.  He holds a Master of Science in Geology from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in MIS and Accounting.

Tarun Chandrasekhar Senior Vice President, Information Strategy REQUEST AVAILABILITY

As Senior Vice President of Information Strategy, Tarun leads product management for Drillinginfo’s upstream-related data and leads market growth initiatives related to the Land and Engineering functions. He entered the oil and gas industry in 2006 and worked at Neuralog Inc. as Product Manager and for NeuraDB – a PPDM-based corporate data repository for well, seismic, log, and production data. Most recently, Tarun served as IT Director for BP North America, responsible for data management and IT program and portfolio management across Lower 48 Onshore with prior roles as Geospatial Data Manager and in leadership of the data management organization across subsurface, geospatial, operations, production, pipeline, and records management disciplines.

 

Tarun is considered an industry-wide expert on the management of subsurface and geospatial data.
